OUR MISSION
Life is simply a beautiful journey where we ride on wings, each one for different periods of time. Some wings are friends, some are family, some are soulmates, partners, lovers, pets, and sometimes we are our own wing. We are all capable of being guardian angels for another. Life wasn’t meant to be experienced or gone through alone. We are all holding each other up. We are all “on a wing”. On a Wing was created as a reminder that no matter what, you have a wing to ride on, even if that wing is your own.
We are nothing without wings. Just as you are, is enough to fly.
OUR IMPACT
As my best friend was in her final stages of her journey with cancer, she sent me a text across the country telling me “Love you tons and you are my guardian angel.” I had been flying back and forth to see her as much as I was able, her being in PA and me in CA. She taught me that we, ourselves, are love, and that we can all be guardian angels for one another. Angels are everywhere in different forms, and we all have them and we all need them. On a Wing was created because of her. She was as alive as humans come, and knew and spread the word that love, just love, is everything and everything.
$10 of every purchase from the ‘Enough to Fly’ pendant is donated to John C. Graybill’s organization Beyond Labels and Limitations, an organization established to raise money dedicated exclusively to Limb-Girdle Muscular Dystrophy 2A (LGMD2A). This is my best friend’s (Trisha Graybill) brother’s organization.
$10 from every purchase from the ‘To the Stars’ ring is donated to Hopa Mountain, a nonprofit organization who invests in rural and tribal citizen leaders who are improving education, ecological health, and economic development.
$10 from every purchase from the ‘Everything’ Key is donated to Pet Rescue Pilots, an organization that flies pets out of shelters and lands them safely in loving arms of rescue groups, fosters, and forever homes.
$10 from every purchase from the ‘Believe’ Key is donated to Shoes That Fit, an organization that tackles one of the most visible signs of poverty by giving kids in need new athletic shoes to attend school with dignity and joy.
$10 from every purchase from the ‘Resilience’ Pendant and Dog Tag is donated to The Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride, a company uniting classic and vintage style motorcycle riders all over the world to raise funds and awareness for prostate cancer research and men’s mental health.
